Dwairy Ranch is a working cattle ranch established in 1993 by Gassan ‘Gus’ Dwairy in Webb County halfway between Freer and Laredo, Texas. Laredo, Texas is located on the west end of the Rio Grande Plains which is south of the Edwards Plateau, west of the Coastal Plains, and east of the Mexican Mountains. This area consists of a few hills and flat land covered mostly with South Texas brush: Cactus, grass lands, mesquite and weissach. It is a prime location for hunting and fishing that brings hunters from across the United States and Mexico. Dwairy Ranch is approximately 2,000 acres in size with a dozen ponds, and contains an abundance of native and exotic wildlife used for hunting and fishing.
